about me

Tim Brand has earned a reputation as one of the NSW Central Coast’s leading photographers. His ability to capture light, colour and texture, combined with his extensive experience in online and print publishing, provide exceptional outcomes that are highly regarded in the industry. Paired with his additional technical expertise as a well known web designer, Tim is one of the few photographers who understands the intricacies and composition for online and website photography.

Tim’s passion for photography started in his early twenties and he turned it into his profession when he and his wife Michelle started one of the first online publications in Australia, Breeze Magazine. This role, for over 10 years, has taken Tim to a huge variety of business, people and locations all over the Central Coast where he honed his expertise in food, architecture, portrait, landscape and lifestyle photography.

Tim has extensive experience in professional food photography. Tim has conducted shoots for many restaurants and cafes across NSW and nationally. Tim will plan, construct and take the perfect photos to show your food in the best possible light. Whether you’re after high quality images for your menu, packaging, print or any other purpose, Tim will take care of all your food imagery requirements.

“I’m extremely lucky to have a profession that is hugely fulfilling to me. It’s more than work, it’s an extension of who I am and what I see. For me, producing good work is ultimately about communication and an emotional connection. I love to hear “wow!” but quiet contemplation of my images can be just as rewarding. Both let me know I’ve got the shot.”
